Global Events Coordinator

The Global Institute of Sport is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Global Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of our events at our iconic stadium campuses and online platforms.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and award-winning team at the world's leading sports education provider. As a Global Events Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding events that drive student recruitment, sports industry engagement, and career prospects for our students and alumni.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deliver our 'open day' events at our stadium campuses, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
- Oversee the planning and execution of our 'global summit' events, featuring renowned sports industry guests and experts.
- Support the planning and delivery of online webinar events, collaborating with GIS colleagues to achieve company goals.
- Manage budgets and supplier relationships for our event portfolio, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Maintain excellent business relationships with our stadium and sports industry partners, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Work closely with GIS teams, including Student Experience, Marketing, and Student Recruitment, to achieve company objectives.
- Contribute to the GIS management team, providing proactive and positive support to drive business growth.
- A positive attitude and a desire to continuously improve in a dynamic organization.
- Experience in managing and delivering high-quality consumer and business events, including budget management and supplier relationships.
- Ability to develop professional relationships with key stakeholders, including external clients, event attendees, and fellow staff.
- A passion for working in sport and/or education.
