Role Overview:

The National Account Manager will play a crucial role in managing key accounts, ensuring that sales targets and profitability goals are met. This position requires a strategic mindset to develop business plans that align with customer needs and the Princes proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, execute, and refine comprehensive customer business plans aimed at achieving annual sales and volume objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of account management, including enhancing existing product listings, generating new business opportunities, and coordinating product launches and promotional initiatives.
  • Maintain a keen awareness of customer profitability and implement effective account management practices.
  • Ensure meticulous management of administrative processes, including budgeting, sales forecasting, and contract oversight.
  • Foster strong customer relationships and promote the Princes brand through professional engagement and strategic entertainment planning.
  • Manage customer interactions effectively, ensuring value delivery as outlined in the business strategy.
  • Proactively identify challenges and devise solutions to enhance account performance.
  • Adopt a long-term perspective in account management, ensuring alignment with both business and customer interests.
  • Take initiative in identifying and pursuing new business prospects.
  • Provide support to the General Sales Manager as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in account management, preferably within the food or beverage sector.
  • Commercial experience with retail or CFI (Convenience Foodservice and Industrial) clients is advantageous.
  • Graduate-level education.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to cultivate relationships across various organizational levels.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • High numerical proficiency.
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  • Project management experience is beneficial.
