Education Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Education Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an EMHP, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people in education settings.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems
- Help children and young people with more severe problems access specialist services through effective multi-agency collaborative working
- Support and facilitate staff in education settings to identify and manage mental health and wellbeing issues
- Work with education environments to improve access to specialist mental health services
- Assess and deliver high-quality, outcome-focused, evidence-based low-intensity interventions
- Care coordinate and manage a defined caseload of children and young people with emotional health and wellbeing difficulties
- Provide training to schools' staff, parents, and carers
- Promote whole-school approaches to developing and maintaining emotional health and wellbeing
