We are seeking a skilled Insurance Advisor who leverages their expertise in the Insurance Sector to cultivate robust, reliable, and lucrative relationships with clients and customers. This position can be performed from either our Haverhill or Norwich locations.
What does the role of an Insurance Advisor entail?
This position is ideal for individuals who excel at nurturing relationships and delivering a comprehensive suite of services to commercial clients, ensuring they find the appropriate Insurance solutions tailored to their requirements.
Our Insurance Advisors are proficient in quoting and securing coverage upon request, managing and binding renewals, addressing mid-term adjustments, brokering client needs within the insurance marketplace, and providing support to Account Executives when necessary.
You will operate autonomously and oversee client needs within a dynamic client portfolio that encompasses various business sectors and types of commercial insurance. This may involve direct client interactions and visits.
Key Responsibilities
Below is a summary of responsibilities, which is not exhaustive. In collaboration with your Line Manager, you will set your own objectives while focusing on the following:
Assist your Account Executive in all aspects of managing client accounts. Ensure precision, efficiency, and professionalism when interacting with both clients and insurers, while conducting related administrative tasks concerning: New business, Renewals, Mid-Term Adjustments, Inquiries, Premium financing arrangements, Cover note issuance. Ensure all business activities comply fully with FCA regulations and company protocols as outlined in the compliance manual. Address any complaints in accordance with company procedures and regulatory standards. Engage in learning, training, and assessment activities as per the individual T&C scheme applicable to you. Identify additional areas for personal development as needed. Maintain a high standard of customer service and promote exceptional customer care practices consistently. Develop and sustain a professional rapport with all clients, providing expert product advice and guidance within timely frameworks. Manage and oversee an effective client diary management system. Advocate for and enhance the utilization of in-house premium financing options from insurer schemes.Required Experience for our Insurance Advisor
It is crucial that you possess some insurance experience, ideally within a broking environment and preferably in commercial lines, as you will be delivering a comprehensive commercial lines experience to existing clients. Familiarity with Open GI and relevant qualifications would be advantageous, although we provide ample opportunities to acquire these upon joining us.
