About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Elevator Service Technician to join our team at thyssenkrupp Elevator. As an Elevator Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' elevators and escalators across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on elevators and escalators to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Parts Management: Source and procure replacement parts as needed to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls and resolve issues efficiently to minimize disruption to clients.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Workload Management: Plan and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Supply Chain Management: Maintain van stock and order supplies through our established supply chain to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and clients as needed to ensure seamless operation of elevators and escalators.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: NVQ3 in Elevator Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  • Driving License: Hold a full UK driving license and be able to travel to client sites.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Initiative and Teamwork: Ability to use initiative and work well with others to achieve common goals.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer-care skills to deliver exceptional service and build strong relationships with clients.
