Role Summary

The Investment Specialist (IS) team operates within the Global Fixed Income and Liquidity Solutions Portfolio Management division. This team collaborates closely with Client Portfolio Managers (CPMs) and is dedicated to the strategic growth, development, and positioning of our Fixed Income product suite. Responsibilities encompass all facets of the new business process, delivering portfolio and investment strategy insights, as well as market updates to our existing clientele. The IS team is globally distributed, with members located in various financial hubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Knowledge Development: Acquire in-depth understanding of Fixed Income Markets and the range of Emerging Market Debt investment products. Enhance systems knowledge related to performance, positioning, risk, and reporting.
  • Client Servicing: Take ownership of delivering tailored client materials, ensuring the highest standards of commercial quality and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Business Development: Engage actively in all aspects of the new business process, including responding to client inquiries, providing specialized product or market insights for RFPs, and creating customized presentation materials and market analyses.
  • Portfolio and Market Analysis: Effectively communicate current portfolio positioning, performance attribution, market trends, and investment themes tailored to the audience; assist in portfolio oversight and analysis.
  • Project Management: Participate in various intra- and cross-team projects aimed at enhancing and refining all aspects of the fixed income process.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Commerce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet various deadlines.
  • Passion for Fixed Income products and markets.
  • CFA designation is advantageous.
