At settle, we're on a mission to deliver exceptional service to our residents, and we're looking for talented individuals to join our team as Money Advice Partners. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in providing expert guidance and support to our residents, helping them navigate the complexities of welfare benefits and debt management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer personalized budgeting advice and guidance on benefit entitlement, rent payment, and debt management.
  • Assist residents in accessing sustainable debt solutions and provide support during times of financial difficulty.
  • Help residents navigate the application process for benefits and Discretionary Housing Payments, and advise on accessing other support services.
  • Onboard new residents successfully by conducting affordability checks and identifying support needs.
  • Manage a complex caseload independently and effectively communicate with residents in sensitive situations.
  • Record all service delivery activities, including agreeing affordable repayment arrangements with residents.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience in providing debt advice and a Certificate in Money Advice Practice.
  • Previous experience in the welfare and benefit sector, with a basic knowledge of housing legislation.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality customer care and a commitment to resolving complex financial issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel to meet residents' needs.
