  • Debt Advice and Solutions: Provide expert advice on sustainable debt solutions, helping residents to overcome financial difficulties and maintain their tenancy.
  • Benefit Applications and Support: Assist residents with applications for benefits and Discretionary Housing Payments, ensuring they receive the support they need to sustain their tenancy.
  • Onboarding and Affordability Checks: Conduct thorough affordability checks to identify support needs and affordability issues, ensuring residents are set up for success from the outset.
  • Caseload Management: Manage a complex caseload independently, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely resolution of resident issues.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping: Effectively communicate with residents, understanding their needs and concerns, and maintain accurate records of service delivery activities.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications: Recent experience in providing debt advice and a Certificate in Money Advice Practice are essential. Previous experience in the welfare and benefit sector, with knowledge of housing legislation, is also highly desirable.
  • Customer Service Skills: A passion for delivering high-quality customer care, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents in emotional and sensitive situations.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and emotional intelligence, with the ability to manage a complex caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Driving License: A full UK driving license is required for this role.
