Job Summary

Consumer Exec is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Leader to join our team at Consumer Additions. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading all financial reporting and control, tax, treasury, audit, banking, and other related functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial reporting strategies and policies to ensure high-quality financial reporting and a strong control environment.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management information and performance indicators for the Board and other stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of delivering high-quality group financial reporting to the financial markets and investors, including preparing key accounting estimates and leading the drafting of the consolidated IFRS financial statements.
  • Manage the Group's external audit, including drafting/reviewing key financial reporting position papers and providing high-quality and timely information to the auditors.
  • Lead on technical accounting matters under IFRS, including drafting papers and presenting to the Executive Committee/Audit Committee Chair.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, banking covenant, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and manage the relationship with external tax advisors.
  • Support acquisition and corporate transaction activities, including preparation and review of financial data, due diligence, and analyses.
  • Develop, coach, and foster engagement across the Financial Reporting team, and influence broader team culture, capabilities, motivation, succession, and development.
Requirements
  • Experience auditing and/or working for a listed business.
  • Strong IFRS financial accounting skills, including a strong working knowledge of key financial controls, IFRS15, and acquisition/disposal accounting.
  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days per week in the office and 4 days per week at certain periods.
