Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

About the Role

Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, minimizing downtime, and enhancing overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  2. Conduct reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, utilizing your technical skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  3. Utilize the latest tools and technologies to maximize equipment effectiveness and efficiency.
  4. Adhere to and promote all health and safety policies and practices, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  5. Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow.
  6. Collaborate on continuous improvement projects, implementing best practices across multiple EU sites to drive excellence in reliability maintenance engineering.
Requirements
  1. Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City & Guilds Level 3, SVQ/IVQ).
  2. Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, with a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  3. Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng.
  2. Experience in condition-based monitoring.
  3. Experience working with print and apply machines.
  4. Experience in fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systems.
