Senior Planning and Scheduling Specialist

Our client, a leading company in the field of inspection, verification, and certification, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning and Scheduling Specialist to join their team in Barrow-in-Furness. This is a 6-month contract position that requires a strong background in planning and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage long-term, mid-term, and short-term integrated site plans and schedules for all onshore and offshore works.
  • Manage and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP), including maintaining accurate records on equipment and resource usage.
  • Plan logistic solutions to maximize time in the WTG and minimize travel times/distance travelled.
  • Track progress and keep site management informed on the progress of all O&M activities performed on site/at hub.

Requirements:

  • Competent Project or Resource Planner with experience in planning and scheduling tools, including MS Project.
  • IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
  • Knowledge and experience of SAP and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team, with excellent communication skills.
