Financial Risk Manager

To oversee the implementation of quality standards and policies across all operational processes, ensuring seamless execution and effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay abreast of regulatory trends and industry developments that may impact the bank's operations, providing strategic insights to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with operational teams to develop and implement quality standards and policies, driving process improvements and enhancing control efficiency.
- Develop and present reports on control performance, communicating findings to senior stakeholders and driving data-driven decision-making.
- Participate in projects aimed at improving control efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging expertise to drive business outcomes.
- Work closely with Control Owners to design and manage Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA), ensuring controls are effective, compliant, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Support operational teams in managing incidents, departmental procedures, record management, and controls testing, ensuring seamless execution and minimizing risk.
- Identify opportunities to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures to support the control and governance agenda, driving business growth and minimizing risk.
- Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls, ensuring the bank's operations are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources, internal and external, to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
