Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the care team to ensure the delivery of excellent standards of care, promoting rehabilitation and independence where possible.
- Prescribe, deliver, and supervise the execution of care plans in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Champion person-centered care, continually assessing resident needs and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
- Oversee all aspects of medicine management, ensuring medicines are stored and administered safely and effectively.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge.
- Participate in inspection visits and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines.
- Document and record all matters relating to residents and employees efficiently and thoroughly.
- Promote a cohesive team approach, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality care.
- Support and guide others in line with the NMC Code, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
