About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced health assessments and clinical examinations of patients with complex presentations, making clinical decisions based on these assessments.
  • Work unsupervised to advise and recommend treatment for patients using clinical judgment and decision-making skills, in accordance with local, regional, and national policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other clinical teams to improve the quality of healthcare, responding to local and national policies and initiatives as appropriate.
  • Assess the impact of policy implementation on care delivery and recognize and work within own competency and professional code of conduct as regulated by the NMC/HCPC.
  • Ensure health and safety is maintained at all times and work effectively with others to clearly define values, direction, and policies.
Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Allied Health Care Professional who meets the legal prescribing standard to train as a non-medical prescriber.
