We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Chippenham. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain effective maintenance procedures to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production levels.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a food or packing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ideal experience with PLC systems and automated machinery.
- Relevant Engineering qualification (level 2 or above).
