Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Yolk Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Wiltshire. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement proactive and reactive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maintain health and safety standards.
  • Maximize machine uptime while minimizing costs through efficient planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with plant engineers and team leaders to prioritize machine maintenance hours for planned tasks.
  • Take an active part in planning, supervising, and overseeing daily routines and inspections.
  • Enforce a Total Quality Approach throughout the site.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a food or packing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ideal experience with PLC systems and automated machinery.
  • Relevant Engineering qualification (level 2 or above).
