Key Responsibilities:- Implementing maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and optimize production schedules.
- Collaborating with fellow plant engineers to prioritize machine maintenance hours for planned tasks.
- Ensuring effective planned preventative maintenance schedules to minimize costs.
- Participating in risk assessment activities and adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Monitoring plant mechanical performance and identifying trends to escalate unresolved issues to management.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a food or packing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ideal experience with PLC systems and automated machinery.
- Relevant Engineering qualification (level 2 or above).
