About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team at Venatu Recruitment Group Careers. As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for refurbishing and fitting out modular buildings to the highest possible standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Refurbish and fit out modular buildings to the highest possible standards.
  • Work on the modular building in the yard.
  • Provide a wide range of training and upskilling throughout the employment.
  • Shadow another team member for the first few months to receive training and support.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Painting and decorating to the internal and external of the building.
  • Basic joinery, partition walls, doors, and windows.
  • Plumbing duties, sink and toilet assembly, waste and drainage, copper and push-fit fittings.
  • Electrics of sockets, heaters, lighting, etc., supporting in the preparation and first fix under the supervision of an electrician.
  • General fit-out and refurbishment both on and off site.
  • Installation and dismantling of all buildings.
  • Maintenance of tools.
  • Report any damages to the team.
  • Help and support the movement of buildings on and off site.
  • Follow waste policies.
  • Any other duties required by management.
  • Work with power tools.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Maintenance or handyman experience.
  • Advantageous to have experience working with power tools.
