About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff, as well as maintaining the overall presentation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular health and safety checks to create a safe environment for everyone.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing skills and DIY experience.
  • Liaise with contractors and coordinate their services to ensure high-quality work.
  • Engage with residents, their families, and colleagues through effective communication.
  • Occasionally visit other facilities to provide cover or as part of planned maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Collaboration is key to a positive environment for residents and a thriving facility.
  • Fundamental knowledge of health and safety protocols is essential.
  • A valid driver's license and access to personal transportation are necessary requirements.
  • Ability to use an iPad or laptop and compliance applications daily.
