Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated full-time Lead Business Support Specialist to join our Drug and Alcohol and Domestic Abuse Coordination Team within the Commissioning – Vulnerable People Service. This role involves collaborating with another Business Support Specialist to assist the Commissioning Officers and Managers in their initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating the administration of processes such as Domestic Homicide Reviews.
- Coordinating meetings and events on both a regular and ad hoc basis.
- Taking minutes for various meetings, including those of a complex nature.
- Managing financial tasks such as processing invoices, raising journals, administering orders, overseeing petty cash, and monitoring expenditures related to contracts.
- Assisting with service user consultation and engagement.
- Reviewing and verifying case records for specific safeguarding details.
- Providing general administrative support, including handling emails and other communications as they arise.
Additional Information: Comprehensive induction and training will be provided. The position allows for a combination of office-based work and remote working arrangements.
