Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a 4-bedded residential care home for children with learning disabilities and autism. The successful candidate will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home is safely managed, meeting Ofsted and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Registered Manager to manage and support the staff team
  • Ensure effective and child-focused support for each young person
  • Contribute to the development of the home's policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve the home's goals and objectives
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of new staff members

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in children and young people
  • Senior or Deputy Manager experience in a children's residential care setting
  • Driving licence

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £28,000 - £34,500 per annum
  • A generous sleep allowance of £40 per sleep
  • A 169-hour monthly contract
  • A mix of shifts and office hours, including sleeps
