Marketing Executive for Original Diving

Job Description

This is a full-time position, and the primary responsibility for this role is to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for Original Diving, targeting existing and new clients in the UK and US.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating engaging content for Original Diving websites, including articles, blog posts, and other written materials.
  • Collaborating with the Dive Team to develop and implement a content creation strategy, including the development of content calendars and the creation of high-quality content.
  • Optimizing website content for search engines through on-site updates and outreach programs.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between the Marketing and Dive Sales teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Providing administrative support for ad hoc website development projects as needed.
  • Developing and publishing regular and engaging email newsletters and social media content for Original Diving.
  • Working closely with the PR team to identify and develop press angles for Original Diving.

Personal Qualities:

  • A passion for diving and a good understanding of marine life.
  • Excellent writing skills with a creative flair.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at any one time and work to deadlines.
  • Strong administration and coordination skills, with great attention to detail and a keen sense of taking pride in work.
  • Demonstrates initiative and enthusiasm, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills.
  • Tech-savvy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience: 12 – 18 months of any or all of the following: email marketing, SEO, direct mail, social media.

Conditions of Employment:

  • The receipt of satisfactory references prior to the start date.
  • The completion of an initial three-month probationary period.
  • Contractual freedom to commence employment.
