Job Title: External Affairs Manager

McDonald's Corporation is seeking a highly skilled External Affairs Manager to join our team. As a key member of our global External Affairs and Crisis Centre of Excellence, you will play a critical role in shaping our brand's reputation and driving responsible business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic communications plans to drive change in brand perceptions and protect our reputation.
  • Establish strong relationships with international market teams to support external affairs and crisis management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create key communications materials and assets for international media and local markets.
  • Identify external opportunities and develop messaging and risk mitigation strategies to support our global impact initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience leading external affairs strategies at a large consumer brand.
  • Strong business knowledge with a demonstrated ability to understand business strategy and use communications to drive strategy.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and be flexible, collaborative, and deadline-driven.
