Public Affairs Strategist

Pathfinders Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs Strategist to join their team.
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned professional with experience in the built environment and property sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of political contacts, preferably with Labour connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective communication strategies to achieve client objectives.
- Liaise directly with clients to deliver projects within budget and on time.
- Manage and support a team of Account Executives and Account Managers.
- Deliver across various mediums, including media relations, stakeholder engagement, and public consultation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in public affairs, public consultation, stakeholder engagement, and media relations strategy.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong writing and interpersonal skills.
- Clear understanding of the local planning and/or public affairs sector.
- Existing relationships with politicians, media, and prospective clients.
