About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Advisor to join our Elderly Care team. As an Administrative Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our Elderly Care team, ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Elderly Care team, including coordination of outpatient appointments and validation of waiting lists.
  • Work independently using your own initiative and apply a high degree of confidentiality to all aspects of your work.
  • Undertake duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines.
  • Ensure referrals are entered onto Lorenzo with an appropriate access plan in accordance with the 18-week pathway.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Educated to minimum GSCE level or equivalent.
  • Experience of working within outpatient or an appropriate administrative role.
  • Handling telephone enquires with confidence.
  • Dealing with patients and relatives.
  • Database management and validation.

Desirable Criteria

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Audit experience.
  • Experience of Lorenzo and other NHS IT systems.
  • NHS experience.
  • Experience with Elderly Care Service.
