About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Elderly Medicine to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our Elderly Care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert medical care to patients with complex elderly care needs
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement care pathways to improve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of our Elderly Care services, including the design and implementation of new care models
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
  • Eligibility for entry on the GMC Specialist Register
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification
  • Postgraduate academic degree
  • Experience in geriatric medicine
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
