Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our Elderly Care team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of outpatient appointments and waiting lists.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently, and have a high degree of confidentiality. They will also have experience of working within outpatient or administrative roles, handling telephone enquiries, and dealing with patients and relatives.

The successful candidate will be supported with on-the-job training and will work within broad procedural guidelines. They will also be expected to ensure referrals are entered onto Lorenzo with an appropriate access plan in accordance with the 18-week pathway.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Provide administrative support to the Elderly Care team
  • Coordinate outpatient appointments and validate waiting lists
  • Work independently using own initiative and apply high degree of confidentiality
  • Undertake duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines
  • Ensure referrals are entered onto Lorenzo with appropriate access plan
