About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team as a Disability Assessor. As a Disability Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments of individuals to determine the impact of their disabilities or conditions on their ability to work.
  • Use your clinical expertise to gather and analyze medical information, including medical history and physical examination results.
  • Produce accurate and concise reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to inform benefit eligibility decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, their representatives, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide clear explanations.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive assessments and high-quality reports.
Requirements
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacist.
  • Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of disability and work-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex medical information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
