We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team at SJB Services UK Ltd. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of individuals to determine the impact of their disabilities or conditions on their work life.
- Draw on your clinical expertise to gather medical history and perform physical examinations.
- Produce concise and accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to inform benefit eligibility decisions.
- Meet with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video, demonstrating sensitivity, compassion, and best practice standards.
- NMC Level 1 Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years.
- Experience of working with adults in a range of clinical situations, including surgical, medical, A&E, community, and practice nursing.
- NMC-registered with Continuous Professional Development on your CV.
- IT skills and experience of using a range of software.
- Self-aware and focused on professional development.
- Honest and able to maintain integrity and customer confidentiality.
- Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect, and sensitivity in assessment delivery.
