Renal Transplant Specialist Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Renal Transplant Specialist nursing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist care to patients preparing for kidney or kidney/pancreas transplantation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist information and counselling to patients regarding the transplant work-up process, the transplant process, and aftercare.
  • Manage a caseload of patients, including provision of information, counselling, requesting and coordinating required investigations, accurate recording of data, and timely listing on the National Transplant Waiting List.
  • Work independently, using your own initiative to meet the changing needs of the service.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Level 1) qualification.
  • Diploma level education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years recent experience at Band 5 or above within renal nursing.
