Job Overview

Black Country Job Support is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Community Mental Health Team in Walsall North, providing high-quality psychological therapies to working-age adults.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering complex psychological formulations to support individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Providing supervision, consultancy, and reflective practice groups to colleagues.
  • Developing and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of colleagues.
  • Working closely with the 8b Clinical Lead, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and Team Manager to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participating in clinical, professional, and management supervision to ensure ongoing professional development.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Doctorate or Masters Level in Clinical/Counselling Psychology.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Experience of working within Community Mental Health Teams (desirable).
