About the Role

Citi, a leading global financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Support Analyst to join our London EMEA Commodities PS team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Front to Back office functions for the Business Franchise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day BAU support for issues and requests from the Global Commodities Business and associated downstream teams.
  • Take ownership of all raised issues and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate and inform new users and team members.
  • Manage incidents, changes, and problems at a global level, ensuring near 100% availability of applications and associated infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with second-level support peers in Markets, Development, and the Commodities Business groups to settle strategy and priorities.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support, answering queries via real-time collaboration and communication chats, and in-person discussions.
  • Carry out Problem, Incident, Change Management as per ITIL processes.
  • Act as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts, allocating work and providing guidance.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience working in a support environment in a Trader Facing Role.
  • Commodities Industry experience preferred.
  • Electronic Trading platform experience.
  • Knowledge of IT service management and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask multiple issues in parallel in a time-bound and pressured situation.
  • Basic knowledge of investment banking and finance accounting.
