About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Applications Support Analyst within our London EMEA Commodities PS team, supporting Front to Back office functions for the Business Franchise. In this role, your focus will include driving delivery into both regional support to desk/traders, operations users, and development/support peers globally to ensure seamless support of our client applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day BAU Support for Issues and Requests from the Global Commodities Business and associated downstream teams.
- Take ownership of all raised issues as well as proactively identify potential issues.
- Ability to educate, inform, and train new users and team members.
- Strong process awareness and ability to manage incidents, changes, and problems at a global level.
- Perform appropriate problem-solving tasks and analysis prior to passing issues to the relevant next-level teams.
- Ensure near 100% availability of applications and associated infrastructure.
- Work closely with second-level support peers in Markets, Development, and the Commodities Business groups to settle strategy & priorities.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support, answering queries via real-time collaboration and communication chats, and in person.
- Carry out Problem, Incident, Change Management as per ITIL processes.
- Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts; allocates work.
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
Requirements
- Relevant experience working in a support environment in a Trader Facing Role.
- Commodities Industry experience preferred.
- Electronic Trading platform experience.
- Knowledge on IT service management and project management.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask multiple issues in parallel in a time-bound and pressured situation.
- Basic knowledge of investment banking and finance accounting.
