Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. The successful candidate will provide full assistance to a busy lady with a spinal injury, who requires 24-hour support with activities of daily living, work, and appointments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support with work-related tasks, such as administrative duties and errands
  • Accompany the lady to the gym for exercise and social activities
  • Assist with everyday chores, such as cooking and cleaning
  • Walk the lady's dog and provide companionship
  • Transport the lady in a mobility car, requiring a clean driving license

Requirements

  • Essential to hold a clean driving license and be able to transport the lady in a mobility car
  • Ability to work flexibly to cover holidays and sickness
  • Training will be provided by a Spinal Nurse from James Cook Hospital
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
