Job Title: Building Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Gi Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs and replacements
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures
  • Assist with the supervision of contractors and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard
  • Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and materials
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal building performance

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • PC literate and proficient in MS Office
