Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Gi Group. As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out internal and external site maintenance and small building repairs. Your primary goal will be to ensure the building is kept safe and that DIY projects are managed in a safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the building is in good working order.
- Perform repairs to internal and external fixtures and fittings.
- Assist with the supervision of contractors and ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard.
- Manage and maintain the building's systems and equipment.
- Book in and out of spares as required.
Requirements:
- F Gas and Level 2 city and guilds / Level 3 preferred.
- Effective communication skills to work with colleagues and contractors.
- PC Literate including MS Office to manage administrative tasks.
- Plumbing skills to carry out repairs and maintenance.
- 1 or more years' experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Basic DIY skills to manage small projects.
