Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Gi Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for carrying out internal and external site maintenance and small building repairs. Your primary goal will be to ensure the building is kept safe and well-maintained, while also managing DIY projects in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the building is in good working order.
- Perform repairs and replacements of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Manage and maintain company fixtures and fittings.
- Assist with the supervision of contractors and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
- Book in and out of spares and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- F Gas and Level 2 city and guilds / Level 3 preferred.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- PC Literate including MS Office and basic DIY skills.
- 1 or more years' experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Benefits:
- 40 Hours flexible on both sides of the working week.
- 33 days holiday per annum and private medical insurance.
