Your Role

As a KYC Onboarding Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting risk evaluations on new personal account submissions.
  • Gathering necessary information and documentation to fulfill KYC compliance requirements.
  • Verifying and validating customer documents through both internal and external resources.
  • Identifying and managing high-risk applications, including Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and sanction matches.
  • Detecting patterns and unusual activities, reporting them as necessary.
  • Performing thorough due diligence on customer documentation using various sources.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A solid understanding of KYC regulatory standards.
  • Experience in evaluating identification documents.
  • In-depth knowledge of CIFAS.
  • The ability to analyze and mitigate financial crime risks associated with customer onboarding.
  • Proven experience in due diligence and client onboarding, along with a strong grasp of banking regulations and compliance protocols.

Work Environment

Currently, our team primarily operates remotely, embracing the flexibility that this arrangement offers. Our ideal working model includes one day per week in the office, so candidates who can occasionally commute will fit well with our current practices. Please note that our goal is to be a customer-centric bank operating around the clock, requiring shifts across five days of the week.
