About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pre Trade Support Specialist to join our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team. As a key member of our CLM Business Line, you will be responsible for coordinating the front-to-back client onboarding journey, ensuring KYC and regulatory due diligence, and account set up and connection to third parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the central point of contact for co-ordinating the client onboarding journey, ensuring timely completion of KYC and regulatory due diligence, and account set up and connection to third parties.
  • Input all data attributes into relevant trading and electronic trading systems.
  • Ensure business requirements are fulfilled and completed within strict timeframes.
  • Project manage onboarding and migration for large mandates and fund portfolios, including gathering client specifications, setting up data and requirements in trade capture and Etrading systems, business readiness testing, and production go-live.
  • Connect to third parties, including SWIFT connectivity, custodians, external managers, and accounting agents.
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve related bottlenecks.
  • Liaise with sales representatives, clients, brokers, and custodians to direct and resolve client and stakeholder queries in a timely manner.
  • Deal with escalations and issues from sales and clients, providing solutions and guidance.
  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders to advise on issue resolution, client reporting, capacity, and associated risks.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements to streamline the operational process and optimize the client journey.
  • Assist in defining procedures, processes, standards, and best practices to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement of the service.
  • Produce key MI reporting both internally and externally to track, monitor, and provide key metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in client onboarding, sales support, trade support, pre-trade management, account opening, E Trading, connectivity, and client services in a front office investment banking/asset management and regulatory environment.
  • Good understanding of the client and trade life cycle.
  • Strong stakeholder management, excellent written and verbal communication, time management, problem-solving skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of trading instruments, including FX, futures, OTC derivatives, collateral, etc.
  • Experience of dealing with broker and custodian set-ups.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and attention to detail.
  • Investment banking, global markets, asset management experience.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong Excel and PPT skills.
  • Visio/Smartsheet beneficial.
  • KYC and regulatory due diligence experience beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of funds.
  • Strong data management and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Aladdin beneficial.
  • BA/BSc graduate degree (2:1).
