Job Title: Deputy Head of Year

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Year to support the Year Leader in the professional leadership and management of the year team and student cohort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing, leading, and developing systems and procedures to enhance standards of achievement, behaviour, and personal development for all pupils in the year group.
  • Support the Year Leader in the professional leadership and management of the year team and student cohort.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve pupil attainment and behaviour.
  • Monitor student progress to ensure all achieve.
  • Inspire, challenge, and motivate pupils.
Requirements:
  • High expectations of pupil attainment and behaviour.
  • Good track record of monitoring student progress to ensure all achieve.
  • Ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate pupils.
  • Knowledge of a range of positive strategies to deal with whole classes and groups of pupils.
