Job Title: Procurement Data Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Data Lead to join our team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting procurement-related data to inform business decisions and drive cost savings.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have significant experience working with data and using data to make business intelligent decisions. You will be responsible for analyzing spend data to predict future spend patterns, research and identify contractual leakage, and evaluate the reasons why invoices are not being paid on time.

You will also be responsible for producing information and offering advice regarding benchmarking and product switching, as well as assisting in the delivery of standardisation and rationalisation of stock across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze and research data to deliver year-on-year improvements in cost, whilst maintaining quality
  2. Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve procurement performance
  3. Work closely with suppliers to improve data exchange and efficiency
  4. Provide expert advice on procurement-related matters
  5. Develop and maintain procurement-related databases and systems
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in data analysis and interpretation, as well as experience working with procurement-related systems and databases.

You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
