Procurement Manager - Capex Role Profile:

As a key member of the Pod Talent team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of operations by overseeing the procurement of capital expenditure projects. In this role, you will have the chance to lead strategic sourcing efforts, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and drive cost-effective solutions for capital projects – managing a spend of c.£

Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for capital expenditure projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  2. Lead the sourcing and negotiation of contracts with suppliers for equipment, machinery, and services related to capital projects.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of procurement solutions.
  4. Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
  5. Stay updated on market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements related to capital procurement.


The ideal candidate will have:
  1. Proven experience within indirect procurement – with exposure to Capex projects being preferred.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' end to end procurement experience.
