Head of Financial Systems Lead

Job Summary:

Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Ltd. (DSFS) is a subsidiary company that's 100% owned by Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking an experienced Head of Financial Systems Lead to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, development, and performance of the finance and procurement system and financial reporting solutions used across the Group, which includes the Trust and DSFS (a wholly-owned subsidiary company).

This role will involve leading and providing technical expertise on any future system implementations and upgrades, as well as managing ongoing system enhancements and development activities.

The post holder will work closely with Finance and Procurement to ensure that high-quality financial and procurement services are underpinned by integrated, effective systems which make full use of available technologies.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems management, with experience in leading system transformation projects and managing financial systems teams.

They will also have excellent technical skills, including expertise in data integrity and security, process improvement and automation, and financial reporting and analysis.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders across the business.
