Chief Financial Officer

\t* Provide financial leadership and direction to the college, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
\t* Ensure compliance with Commonwealth and Federal regulations, including financial aid and risk management
\t* Manage the college's financial systems and processes, including accounts payable, grants management, and general accounting
\t* Develop and implement strategic plans to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness
\t* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve financial goals and objectives
\t* Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making
\t* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements
\t* Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and auditors
\t* Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and laws, and ensure compliance with these changes
\t* Provide training and support to college staff on financial systems and processes
\t* Perform other duties as assigned

\t* Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Administration, or related field from an accredited institution
\t* Significant managerial experience, including broad-based financial experience
\t* Strong management, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
\t* Excellent record of leadership in policy formation (planning, assessment, and evaluation)
\t* Demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of strategic plans
\t* Strong working knowledge of financial systems and information technologies
\t* Ability to work effectively with internal and external constituencies
\t* Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
\t* Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service and student-centered focus
\t* Effective written and oral communication skills
\t* Willingness to work at any of the college's locations
\t* Successful completion and passing of a criminal background and financial check
\t* Significant experience in higher education and/or state government administration and a thorough understanding of Federal and State administrative procedures
\t* Knowledge of Agency Risk Management and Internal Control Standards (ARMICS) and federal financial aid regulations
\t* Ability to analyze functions and recommend improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of financial aid regulations
\t* Experience with Oracle (PeopleSoft) administrative accounting and student accounting systems
