We are in search of a proactive CCAB qualified accountant who is passionate about driving success, excels in spearheading enhancements, and is dedicated to collaborating with a team to advance the finance department. Our focus is on leveraging financial expertise to ensure optimal value for money within the resources at our disposal. As a Lead Financial Strategist, you will be responsible for establishing strong financial controls throughout the organization, ensuring a consistent framework for decision-making, and providing essential advice and guidance.

Having achieved our Future Focused Finance (FFF) Level 1 Accreditation, we prioritize personal and departmental development to uphold the highest standards of financial support for the ICB and the patients we serve.
Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will have the freedom to take initiative in enhancing financial controls, formulating financial governance policies, executing audit recommendations, and leading significant financial projects.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the Financial Control team, which encompasses Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury Management, and maintaining the integrity of the ICB's ledger. You will have numerous opportunities to manage projects, including leading the preparation of the Annual Accounts and Inter-NHS balances.
