Civil Site Manager

Cherry Professional is seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to lead the execution of water infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sites effectively, minimizing risks, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Site Management: Ensure the successful execution of water infrastructure projects by managing sites effectively, minimizing risks, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Communication: Read, interpret, and provide clear communication of construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements, etc.
- Setting Out: Ensure that the setting out is accurate, providing precise lines, levels, and reference points on site.
- Progress Management: Effectively influence the progress on sites and ensure programme deadlines are met.
- Relationship Management: Develop effective relationships and deal with clients and subcontractors.
- Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety: Work closely with all other team members to ensure that the Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety aspects of the work are adhered to during your project phase on site.
- Knowledge Development: Continually develop your knowledge in the industry, communicating, and implementing best practice guidance to line managers and relevant staff.
- IMS Management: Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Other Duties: Undertake any other duties as necessary.
- A degree in Civil Engineering or other industry-related qualification with 5+ years relevant on-the-ground experience.
- Experience within the clean water/wastewater sector would be essential.
- Numeracy and IT skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel.
- Experience and knowledge working on water infrastructure projects (clean and wastewater, i.e., truck mains, shafts, gravity sewers).
- Ability to use your own initiative, taking accountability and responsibility for projects from start to finish.
- Deadline-driven, instilling motivation in your team to hit key targets.
- A full driving license.
