We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Protection Specialist to join our team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Radiological Protection Centre, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our clients and the public.
Key Responsibilities- Act as deputy section leader and provide expert advice on radiation protection to clients.
- Perform RPA/MPE/LPA audits to assess compliance with regulatory frameworks and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of our income-generating services and take a significant role in scientific research and development.
- Provide radiation protection specifications for facilities using ionising radiation and advise on radiation safety aspects of design and build.
- Make a significant contribution to the organisation and delivery of our training courses.
