About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our growing Insurance & Money Services team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the financial performance of our business by providing insightful analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Business Leaders: Collaborate closely with senior management and stakeholders across various departments to understand their financial needs and provide tailored support.
- Month-End Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying trends.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop comprehensive budgets and forecasts for the business, incorporating market insights and operational plans.
- Business Case Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis of proposed projects and initiatives, evaluating their potential impact on profitability and return on investment (ROI).
- Cost Management: Monitor and analyze costs across different areas of the business, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Product Profitability: Analyze product performance and profitability, providing insights to support pricing strategies and product development decisions.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with proven experience in financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
- Experience working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
