We are seeking a Planning & Control Analyst with expertise in ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in Power BI.

OVERVIEW

This role is in collaboration with a dynamic organization specializing in high-performance vehicle engineering, actively involved in innovative motorsport and vehicle projects.

About the Role:

The Planning & Control function plays a crucial role in supporting Program Management and Budget Control by planning and executing business activities while ensuring that systems and processes comply with company policies. The responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating key business activity planning to clarify the impact of activities on the organization, aiding in the successful delivery and implementation of projects.
  • Assisting the Planning team manager by gathering information from various departments to enable comprehensive planning assessments of activities.
  • Creating and regularly updating schedules using methodologies such as Critical Path Analysis and scenario analysis.
  • Providing weekly and monthly updates on project activities.
  • Collaborating closely with Project Managers to support project forecasting and metrics management.
  • Coordinating with the Chief Commercial Officer to support urgent analyses of critical tasks.
  • Developing innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiencies and ensure alignment with company control policies, including conducting monthly review meetings to discuss changes and their justifications.
  • Assisting in the coordination and facilitation of new project setups and readiness for significant meetings.

Core Competencies and Experience:

Applicants should ideally possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering (2.1 or above) or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Project Management
  • Familiarity with Matrix Management
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in ERP and MRP systems, as well as drawing release systems
  • Understanding of project plan development processes
  • Strong analytical skills for data assessment
  • Comprehension of planning control and scheduling principles
  • Experience in Planning and Data analysis
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Competence in MS-Office applications
  • Demonstrated skills in detailed analysis and problem-solving
  • Ability to establish and disseminate effective working practices and processes
  • Capability to thrive in small team environments
  • Willingness to contribute positively to process development based on evolving project needs
