About the Role

The Corporate Recruitment Solutions team is seeking an experienced Agricultural Portfolio Manager to join our client's busy and thriving team. As a key member of the Relationship Management team, you will be responsible for managing, attracting, and growing a portfolio of quality agricultural businesses via savings and credit-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of agricultural businesses, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Work closely with distributor reps and local professional firms to maintain a steady flow of new business referral opportunities.
  • Build and maintain superior relationships in the marketplace to fully leverage the bank's unique product offering.
  • Attend and lead industry events to promote the bank's brand and products.
  • Maintain a regular call and contact plan with customers, prospects, and distributor reps to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Write and structure agricultural and horticultural credit reports and deals in a subjective risk-based assessment format.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in agricultural business development and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret and critique financial information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in autonomy and as part of a team.
  • Full UK or equivalent driver's license.
